Warranty Coverage – 1 Year (Software Only)

All laptops sold by Alcon Computers come with a One (1) Year Software Warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty strictly covers software-related issues only.


What Is Covered (Software Warranty)

We will repair, reconfigure, or replace (at our discretion) the laptop if it develops verified software-related defects, including:

  • Operating system (Windows/macOS/Linux) errors
  • System crashes caused by software
  • Driver and system configuration issues
  • Pre-installed software malfunctions
  • Booting problems caused by software
  • Virus or malware-related system issues (if not due to customer negligence)
  • Corrupted system files or software instability

What Is NOT Covered (No Hardware or Power Warranty)

Alcon Computers does NOT provide warranty for any hardware or power-related issues, including but not limited to:

  • Motherboard or internal component failure
  • Screen/display damage or defects
  • Battery, charger, or power adapter faults
  • Keyboard, touchpad, ports, speakers, camera, or fingerprint reader faults
  • Hard disk or SSD physical failure
  • Liquid or water damage
  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, pressure damage)
  • Electrical surge, lightning, or power fluctuation damage
  • Overheating due to dust, blocked vents, or improper use
  • Any form of physical tampering or component replacement

Return & Replacement Policy

  • Returns or replacements are only applicable for verified software-related defects.
  • The laptop must be returned in the same physical condition as sold.
  • All returns are subject to physical inspection and testing by our technicians.
  • No cash refunds. Approved cases will be handled through software repair or replacement (where applicable).

Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty will be automatically void if:

  • The laptop is opened, repaired, or modified by unauthorized technicians
  • There is evidence of liquid, physical, or electrical damage
  • Serial numbers, warranty stickers, or seals are removed or tampered with
  • Damage results from misuse, negligence, or accidents

Customer Responsibility

Customers are strongly advised to:

  • Use surge protectors or UPS for power protection
  • Handle devices with care
  • Avoid exposure to liquids, dust, and extreme heat
  • Back up personal data regularly
